Please join us for an amazing sound bath concert as well as for our end of the year party.
Peter Blum and Naaz Hosseini will present a meditative sound bath concert followed by a demonstration of how to use sound in a healing practice and a question and answer period. As a duo, and (and sometimes trio or quartet, when joined by Thomas Workman, Steve Gorn, or Ev Mann) Peter and Naaz have worked together, presenting dozens of these sound baths for the past 15 years.
“The keys to this are, a) listening, and b) trusting – our own innate musical instincts, each other, and the audience,” continued Blum. “We attempt to tune in during a performance in to the collective unconscious of everyone present, and to play the sounds that emerge from our mutual dream. We refer to it as a ‘sacred’ soundbath because for us this is akin to universal prayer with our instruments.”
