With all the anger in the world lately we often don’t have something to laugh at but with laughter yoga we learn how to laugh for the health of it.
Laughter yoga (Hasya yoga) is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter. There is laughing for no reason at all, no jokes needed. Laughter Yoga combines yogic breathing and intentional laughter along with meditation to aid with connection to yourself and others. It is a perfect tool to de-stress and bring upon a peace and calm in yourself and others.
Laughter Yoga is based on Yogic principles (no yoga mat or lying on the floor needed). It involves laughter exercises , movement , intermittent stretching and deep breathing and we close with a seated laughter meditation.
