Join us for Learning to Regulate Your Nervous System – An Embodied Experience

What is regulation? How does it feel in your body? Why is knowing how to regulate important? All these questions and more, will be answered in this experiential talk!

We have no control over what we will face on a day-to-day basis, who we will come into contact with or how we will be triggered. Having the tools to support our nervous systems back into regulation after they have been activated, empowers us to face an increasingly uncertain world with a degree of confidence while at the same time building our resilience to adversity.

In this talk we will explore simple, somatic practices that can be used in daily life to help restore calm to the body and the mind.

About Candice Winterboer

Candice Winterboer is a trauma-informed life and business coach holding a credential with the International Coaching Federation. She is also a dedicated student of Somatic Experiencing, currently in her final year of becoming a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Candice’s own life experience and her dedication to self-development and the unpacking of her own challenges with trauma and stubborn behaviour patterns, has her working with clients from all over the world. Using embodiment practices, coaching tools and somatic exercises, she works with clients to re-establish meaningful, respectful relationships with themselves, their families, communities and the environment.
