Strategies for Difficult Relationships with Lisa Twerski, LCSW

November 15, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

In this virtual presentation, we will be exploring the topic of the difficult relationship. Difficult relationships come in many shapes and
sizes. The difficult relationship in someone’s life may be involving a relative, a friend, a co-worker, etc.

The question becomes, why do people keep struggling? What gets people into a difficult relationship, keeps people in difficult relationships and what is there to do about them? The different possible profiles of difficult relationships will be explored using case scenarios.

Audience participation will be encouraged in looking at possible core struggles underlying these relationships and the difficulties people encounter in trying to handle these relationships in their lives. Finally, strategies for managing the difficult person and relationship will be explored.
