Bernie Siegel, MD renowned mind-body pioneer and best-selling author of several books including Love, Medicine and Miracles, and his latest, The Art of Healing, containing sixty drawings for healing, will be presenting a program sponsored by the Katonah Study Group to be held at the Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY.  This unique presentation is about integrating the power of the mind, body and spirit as an integral part of medical care.

Bernie will be addressing:

• Survivor personality
• Patient empowerment qualities
• How to achieve ones potential
• Self-induced healing versus spontaneous remissions
• Doctor patient relationships
• How wordswords become swordswords which can kill or cure
• Show drawings by patients revealing mind body interactions
• The role of the conscious and unconscious mind

This program is open to everyone interested in the mind body spirit connection in relationship to healing.  And, if you’re really interested in learning something about healing yourself, Bernie gave us a homework assignment to do:  Draw a picture, with crayons, of yourself at work as a health professional, doctor, nurse, or family member, and bring it to the presentation.
