The Power of Platonic Intimacy, presented by a panel of Certified Cuddle Therapists

February 11, 2026 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Cuddlists present... pls Join us Feb 11, 2026

We live in a world that is suffering from skin hunger and discomfort with platonic affection. Many people associate intimacy with sexual touch, and most unconsciously respond to the needs of others rather than learning to identify their own needs, ask for what they want, and then be able to receive.

In this panel discussion on cuddle therapy, we’ll explore:

  • what cuddle therapy is (and what it is not!);
  • the many reasons why people seek platonic touch work;
  • the role of consent and boundaries;
  • talking with a therapist about cuddle therapy (and how the triadic model works);
  • some of the myriad benefits of this therapeutic modality— from hormonal release as a bridge between the biological (i.e. oxytocin) and physiological, to impact on mental wellness, the art of receiving, and more;
  • how to find a practitioner who is a good fit.

We will also briefly cover the Cuddlist® code of ethics and Cuddlist® training. All questions are welcome.

This event will be recorded. All registrants will receive a link to the recording within a week of the live presentation.
